Guardianship Services
Guardianship is a legal process in which the court determines that an individual is unable to make decisions and appoints another person or entity to act as a substitute decision-maker. This appointed guardian has specific duties and responsibilities as mandated by the court. There are also alternative forms of guardianship that may not be related to incapacity or may only apply to certain areas of incapacity.
